Description

Sola Crepes from M&M Bird Toys are light, natural foot toys made for grabbing, carrying, tossing and picking apart. They come in three sizes, so you can match the crepe to your bird, or mix sizes for a flock with big and small beaks.

Each crepe is handmade from thin, natural slices of sola wood that are curled and arranged into an open, ruffled sphere. Sola is a real wood that is soft and super lightweight, so it is easy and satisfying to chew. As birds shred the slices, the natural texture helps keep beaks and talons in good condition.

Pick the size that fits your bird:

  • Mini, Pack of 18 (#5144): About 1.8 inches across, a perfect fit for small feet and beaks. Put out a handful at a time and keep the rest on hand for fresh fun all week.
  • Small, Pack of 8 (#5145): About 2.4 inches across, big enough to hold with one foot while the beak goes to work. Plenty to rotate through, so there is always a fresh one ready.
  • Mega, Pack of 3 (#5148): About 3.8 inches across, with lots of material to work through. Even at this size they stay featherlight and easy to toss around.

These crepes are excellent for delicate chewers who prefer something soft over hard wood. The open ruffles are also ideal for tucking in treats, which turns every crepe into a real foraging challenge. Hang them, set them in a bowl or let them roll loose on the cage floor.

Because they are natural items, each crepe varies a little in size and shape, and that is part of their charm. Every pack is hand-packed by us in our small Florida shop.
