Description
Treat your flock to hours of meticulous, healthy chewing with the 5176 Sola Shred Lotus from M&M Bird Toys. If your feathered friend loves to peel, nip, and dismantle their toys piece by piece, this intricate, multi-layered foot toy is an absolute must-have for their enrichment collection.
Available in three versatile sizes (Mini, Small, and Medium), these beautiful lotus flowers are designed to satisfy your bird's deep-rooted natural instincts to forage and destroy.
The Magic of Sola Wood Sola wood is renowned in the avian community as one of the lightest, softest woods in the world. It provides a highly satisfying, pithy texture that is completely bird-safe and will never dangerously splinter. Because it is so airy and lightweight, pets of all sizes—from delicate finches and budgies to powerful macaws—can effortlessly grasp, carry, and manipulate these toys with their talons.
Intricate Layered Design What sets the Sola Lotus apart from standard wood blocks is its captivating construction. Each toy is made entirely from thinly sliced pieces of natural sola wood tightly tied together into a stunning lotus flower. This creates hundreds of individual, delicate petals. This unique shape encourages your bird to use their fine motor skills to gently peel and chew the layers apart one by one, offering a deeply focused and calming shredding activity.
Endless Ways to Play
-
Healthy Foot Toys: Hand them directly to your parrot to encourage foot dexterity and grip practice.
-
Advanced Foraging: Stuff your pet's favorite tiny seeds, dry treats, or pellet pieces deeply between the dense petals to create a highly rewarding puzzle.
-
DIY Toy Making: The soft, spongy center is easily pierced, making the Lotus perfect for stringing onto stainless steel skewers or tying to existing cage accessories for customized fun!
-
Extra Foraging Material: Easily break the flowers up by hand to mix the delicate petals into your bird's foraging trays.

The recipient quickly demolished one of these - big hit.
One quibble - there was a lot of plastic used in the delivery of the several items ordered, much more than necessary I think. I hope the seller will consider how to reduce use of plastic and use more sustainable materials. Thanks.
