Give your bird a natural foraging treat with the 5050 Pk4 Coconut Fiber Ball from M&M Bird Toys. Each ball is packed full of soft, earthy coconut fiber and wrapped by hand in a woven seagrass net, creating a rustic foot toy that is made to be picked apart. Birds that love to pull, pluck and shred will find plenty to keep their beaks busy, while the all-natural materials bring a warm, outdoorsy feel to any cage.
The seagrass netting gives the outside of every ball a fun, textured surface to grip and tug. Once a bird works through the woven strands, it can dig into the fluffy coconut fiber tucked inside, pulling it out bit by bit just like it would while foraging in the wild. This layered design encourages natural behaviors, helps chase away cage boredom and gives busy birds a rewarding project to work on throughout the day.
At about 2.5 inches across, each ball is easy to hold in the feet, carry to a favorite perch or toss around a playtop. Because every ball is handmade from natural materials, size and shape vary slightly from piece to piece, so no two are exactly alike. With four balls in every pack, you can rotate in a fresh one whenever the last has been happily shredded. They are a wonderful fit for small and medium birds like cockatiels, conures, quakers and lovebirds.
