The 5185 Pk25 Mini Sola Oysters from M&M Bird Toys are straightforward wood bird foot toys. These small size chewable chunks are a delight for all small size birds to play with.
Each pack includes (25) ready to play with Mini Sola Oysters. These foot toys are made from all natural air dried sola wood. This wood is one of the lightest woods in the world and makes for a superb bird foot toy material. The oysters are made first by removing the bark on a stem of sola wood. After this the wood is shaped into a rounded triangle and reduced in size. The toys are then handcut from these stems and left to air dry.
These foot toys are a delight for small pet birds to enjoy. The chunks are straightforward, light in weight and can be shredded apart by both beaks and feet of all small sizes. These toy are great as regular foot toys and can also be used as foraging material to refill other toys. All pet birds have a natural desire to forage. This is their innate instinct to rip, shred and destroy. Providing toys such as the sola oysters allows birds to express this nature in a healthy way while in the cage.
